MTM's Mission Mountain Top Ministries is a place where people can seek God and become an active contributor to God’s kingdom. In Matthew 17:1, Jesus took Peter, James and John, “up a high mountain by themselves." While there, the disciples saw Jesus transformed, heard God's voice, and began learning about the importance of preparing for future service. The mountainous region of Haiti We provide a bastion for God's light and truth in the high places of their country. is the ideal setting for Mountain Top Ministries as we create facilities for learning, care, prayer, and preparation for Haitian Christians.Mountain Top Ministries was founded, and continues to be led, by Willem and Beth Ellen Charles. Willem, a natural born citizen of Haiti, and Beth Ellen, a native of Indiana, are dedicated to seeing Mountain Top Ministries reach its goal to serve the people of Haiti and to spread God’s word. As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we are dedicated to assisting the people of Haiti by conducting spiritual education; providing quality medical care; and training Haitian ministers. Willem and Beth began their mission work in 1991. They assisted Americans through the process of short-term medical, construction, VBS, and evangelism teams in Haiti. They developed a discipleship class, pastors' conferences, annual crusade and led the discipleship class on personal evangelism trips. They also have successful experience in Bible studies, conferences and seminars for Haitian ministers, medical mission services, and missionary training. Willem is fluent in Creole, French and English and uses his gifts as a translator.After many years of serving the Lord in various capacities, Willem’s vision for his ministry in Haiti became clear. In 1999, Willem and Beth Ellen became independent missionaries. Now having the freedom to pursue the work God has put in their hearts to accomplish, the organization and work of Mountain Top Ministries began.
Vision statement Vision statement: Mountain Top Ministries exists as a resource that ignites a vision in the Haitian people for their country to recognize their true potential, so that they may take spiritual ownership of their nation one village at a time to defeat generational poverty village by village.
Mission Statement Mission Statement: Share the good news of Jesus Christ with the families in the village of Gramothe and the people of Haiti by providing for their spiritual, physical and academic needs.
Statement of Faith Statement of Faith: The leaders of Mountain Top Ministries believe- Apart from Christ we can do nothing of lasting value. We have complete faith that attached to the true vine, Jesus Christ, all resources, decisions and accomplishments needed to achieve the mission and vision of Mountain Top Ministries will be proved by the Lord.
