Education is vital to lasting positive change in children's lives. Yet for thousands of children and youth in Haiti, education is beyond reach. Mountain Top Ministries reaches Haiti's most marginalized children. Because we are located in a remote part of Haiti where travel is difficult we can reach those who urgently need education and spiritual guidance to survive and thrive.

We are committed to meeting the educational needs of Haiti’s most vulnerable children. Mountain Top Ministries is in need global partnerships and support to meet the formidable challenge of educating a country. In partnership with nongovernmental organizations, and local communities, Mountain Top Ministries brings quality education and a vision of hope to the Haiti’s’ future.

Mountain Top Ministries’ educational programs reach marginalized children from early childhood through young adulthood. Our regional communities are in the areas were the need is greatest; we have placed our schools in the most remote communities thus allow communities to flourish. Mountain Top Ministries believed that the children have faced enough in terms of challenges, let alone have to endure a one our walk to and from school each day. So, instead of the children seeking out the education we brought it to them.

Mountain Top Ministries has designed programs that minimize obstacles for children’s’ participation, and make the content of education relevant to the realities of the children’s lives. Quality of learning at our schools is very high; typically children from Mountain Top Ministries school score better on governmental exams than children enrolled in government schools.

When Mountain Top Ministries started its first class in 1999 the average age of a 6th grade student was approximately 18 years of age. Today Mountain Top Ministries is proud to say that our students are more age appropriate and we have made much progress for the futures of Gramothe and Dumay villages where our schools are now established and growing.

Yet, with nearly 1500 students enrolled only 1/3 of our students our being sponsored. Mountain Top Ministries welcomes you to help make a difference in the life of a child and the future of their country.
