Mission Trips to Mountain Top Ministries are a “Hands On” way to serve God and to help us to change the lives and mind set and Haiti. These trips are certain to change your life and the lives of others.

Medical professionals, computer and English instructors, and those that are handy are especially important to our programs. However, we welcome everyone because there are many ways to contribute and many talents that will assist us in fulfilling our mission to serve God and to improve Haiti. Lea Kendhammer of Wisconsin shares her experience volunteering in the medical programs at MTM ,

“I personally was blessed with my first mission trip to Haiti in the summer of 2004. Even though I had no medical experience, I was thrilled that I was able to be used in the clinic. Our team was able to serve over 500 patients in those 4 days.”

Despite having no formal medical training, Lea and her husband, Mark, quickly learned to take blood pressure and treat common ailments. Their team made a significant contribution to our programs and to the Haitian people. While mission teams certainly change the lives of Haitians, participating in a mission trip to Haiti will also change the lives of the missionaries. Lea continues,

“The joy of being able to pray, treat, and befriend those in need was extremely rewarding. I think I got more from the people than what they received from me.”
