Vision statement:
Mountain Top Ministries exists as a resource that ignites a vision in the Haitian people for their country to recognize their true potential, so that they may take spiritual ownership of their nation one village at a time to defeat generational poverty village by village.
Mission Statement:
Share the good news of Jesus Christ with the families in the village of Gramothe and the people of Haiti by providing for their spiritual, physical and academic needs.
Statement of Faith:
The leaders of Mountain Top Ministries believe-
Apart from Christ we can do nothing of lasting value.
We have complete faith that attached to the true vine, Jesus Christ, all resources, decisions and accomplishments needed to achieve the mission and vision of Mountain Top Ministries will be provided by the Lord.
Support to Statement of Faith
- The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God, therefore is complete and sufficient in its message and instruction (II Timothy 3:16).
- Within the nature of the One True God, there are three eternal Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit
(Deuteronomy 6:4, Hebrews 1:8, Acts 5:3-4).
- Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, that is and was with God.
(John 1:1, John 8:58, Exodus 3:15).
- That mankind was created upright and good. But by voluntary sin fell, thereby incurring the wrath of God which is separation from God and that the penalty for sin is death (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23).
- Jesus Christ was Himself sinless, and that He gave Himself up for the sins of all people, that He was crucified, dead and buried according to the Scriptures, and on the third day rose from the dead
(I Corinthians 15:4).
- That all people can be saved by grace through faith as they trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
(Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9).
- The Scriptures declare an eternal home for those who die in Christ (John 14:1-2) and eternal condemnation for those who reject salvation through Christ (Revelation 20:15).
- Jesus Christ will return on a day known only by the Father, and that this is the blessed hope of the church (I Thessalonians 4:16-18).
